     Easter weekend!  Maybe you aren’t able to make your usual plans right now but how do you plan to celebrate this year?  You could check out the Holiday section at Oddballartstamps and create something fabulous!  The store has several varieties of Easter girls and baskets in cute or creepy styles.  Lizzy has images for all your holiday needs in which ever style you choose.  For my card I chose the the SUPER cute big eyed chibi girl and Eater basket.  I changed her wavy hairstyle into square braids (not to bad for my first attempt...I don’t think).  I had a little trouble coloring this card because my pencil sharpener is dull and I am out of new ones....hopefully the grocery store has a fairy decent one 😳.  This shelter in place is inconvenient sometimes 🙄😊.  So whether you are having an egg hunt, binge watching movies while eating jellybeans or hanging out in a bunny costume be sure and make time to stop by Oddballartstamps and use code CHR1 for a free image when you buy 2!  Happy Easter!

     Hello!      This post is for all the nurses out there doing their best job.  At this critical time I think about all the nurses I have known from my clinical nurse to oncology nurses.  This is my salute to you😘!!
     This card was made using the fabulous Jenny, created by the talented Lizzy at Oddballartstamps. This set comes with Jenny and 3 sentiments.  I used black widow light skin for her skin, Irijiten pencils for her clothes and prima premium colored pencils for her hair.

     I hope you enjoy the inspiration I am sharing this week.  As with most images I start with a layer of copic markers (this time I didn’t use any marker on the hair but rather built the color with layers of prisma colored pencils.  I really love how the hair turned out but it took me days to tweak it, but she was worth it.  The pink frosting drip is from a Tim Holtz stamp and emboss combination (Halloween zombies 2018).  I embossed on pale pink paper and added distress ink on top and get pen highlights.

The cupcake frosting is modeling paste  swirled on top of cardstock.  Can you see the texture?

When it comes to St Patrick’s Day I always think of magic and rainbows 🌈 , ever since I was a little kid.  You can keep your leprechauns and clover ....just kidding!  Oddballartstamps  has a huge variety of images for all your holiday needs and more.  Use my code CHR1 for a free digital image when you buy two!

Have you ever made a water color galaxy.  They were popular a few years ago but I think it worked for this  project. This is a picture after paint is laid down and the kosher salt added (the salt makes the star formations).

Here is a close up you can see what the salt does to paint.  Also, look at that rug texture!

This project is true mixed media.  It combines watercolor, copic markers and prisma colored pencils and black widow light skin colored pencils! Again check out the Oddballartstamps shop for all your holiday images and any other creepy cute ideas you have!

Hello creatives!  We are half way through the month and so half way through our 3rd Clever Dexter challenge.  This month our theme is Struck by Luck with an optional color theme of hunter green, black, yellow and mint green. Clearly I didn’t use the color scheme this month.  This March our fabulous sponsor is Polka doodles  and the image I am using is Lil Sugar pop unicorn, isn’t she adorable.  Be sure and check their shop for more amazing products
This little cutie was colored with prisma colored pencils and gel pens for sparkle. The background, which I chose to leave pretty simple is due cut from Tim Holtz thinlit # 663095.
