Bummed out bear

Hey friends, returning this week with a quick tutorial for you, using this weeks Creepy Cute Chronicles newsletter premium image (Bummed out bear) and image #70 from the Oddballartstamps store.
First I applied a base of copic marker to the images. For the bear I used light cream and the fairy white skin by Master Arts

Next I use colored Derwent pencils (skin tone) to deepen the color and add depth to the fairy and added prisma premium color pencils to the bear

The final panel displays fairy image #70 and bummed out bear.  The last  picture is  what it looks like all closed up.

This week for Oddballartstamps I designed this slider card using the January monthly exclusive
A new beginning.  She is gliding through the air to bring you New Year cheer (and  a friendly reminder that she is only available to premium members until January 31st).  Also included on this card is image 124 (Myrna Manes) from the Oddballartstamps shop. The background was created using distress oxide in black, blue denim, hickory smoke, twisted citron and old paper.

Happy New Year 2nd inspiration

Hello! On the blog today with my second inspiration post for the Clever Dexter challenge. This month the Papershelter (https://www.thepapershelter.com/) graciously accepted the host position.  and provided this “Happy New Year 2020” digital stamp, which can be found here https://www.thepapershelter.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=631.
For this project I used prisma premier colored pencils  on blue card stock, (I hope you didn’t think your eyes were messed up or that I take super bad pictures ๐Ÿ˜†). The clock works are a die cut that I embossed with Rita Barakat’s mermaid fin.
If you make a project with this digital stamp be sure and tag us.  If you use a Papershelter digital stamp you have a chance at prizes, but you can use whatever stamp you choose.  If that isn’t enough you get bragging rights for a month over at Clever Dexter http://www.cleverdexter.com/2020/01/clever-dexter-challenge-1.html

Hex flowers

Bokeh is a blurred background that is used to enhance an object in the picture.  Having a stencil circle makes it easier to make this type of background
Start by drawing circles around the main object, vary the circle sizes.Choose the colors you wish to use.  For this project I choose three for the background and added a few more colors for the circles.  I like to work dark to light.  I am just learning the bokeh technique but there are many wonderful tutorials out there if you want to learn more about it๐Ÿ˜‰
I hope you enjoyed my project, be sure to follow along with our talented team members all week.  Leave a comment on each blog for a chance to win the entire collection!  Up next: Rightbrain:
