Simple birthday card

 It’s April! Time for rain showers, and spring cleaning....eww. Watercolor rose

 I am back with my second inspiration for the Clever Dexter challenge 15.  The theme for this March is watercolor background.  It’s difficult to tell but I used a gold metallic watercolor behind the flowers. This digital stamp from our fabulous sponsor Stampers delight is called Rose 1. Check out the Stampers delight  shop for more amazing digital stamps.  This rose image is absolutely gorgeous and so much fun to create with.  I used distress ink and polychromo pencils to color this image, but the possibilities are endless.

 Hello! I am here with my first inspiration card for the the new Clever Dexter Challenge.  Our theme for challenge 15 is watercolor background (whatever that means to you).  For this card I chose to water color the die cut and the edges of the card.  

For our March Clever Dexter challenge (#15) our sponsor is the always fabulous Stampers delight and for this project I used Chibi Crafty girls.  To color this little cute I painted on a base of distress ink and enhanced it with polychromo pencils.

 Hi there, it’s Chris and I am back with a little inspirational card for the Clever Dexter challenge.  Our theme this month is Just Because and our fantastic sponsor this month is Casetta Sullalbero.  For this card I am using a pre-colored version of Alice.  Isn’t she fabulous!! February, a time of romance, love and candy.....or maybe not!  This grumpy little bunny from Casettasullabero doesn’t look ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Clever Dexter  is celebrating Valentine’s Day this month with our challenge number 14.  As always there is a optional color pallet. Thus month the pallet colors are as follows-pink,red, white, dark red and blue.

 Hey there!  Today I would like to share with you a card I made using Oddballartstamps  Image 521.  I adore this funky alien and have made cards with her before.  It happens to be a very cloudy day today (bad for pictures) so the images are a little washed out from my light (I apologize).  The second picture is showing some of the glitter effect (the glitter is insane....trust me)  

This card is pretty simple.  The background is Jane Davenport pallet pastels on Kraft paper (for a very muted effect).  I colored the images with Prisma colored pencils and jelly roll pens in white and moon glow.  I also used Kaiser color gell pens in green and gold.  The paper I used is Recollections from Micheals
